Facts: Bobcats are among the smallest wild cats. Their habitat extends throughout much of North America, ranging from southern Canada to Mexico. Though generally living in various natural environments such as scrublands and forests, bobcats are also known to live in urban areas, and are perhaps the most-adjusted wild cat for this domain. Bobcats are classified with other cats in the Lynx genus, and are thus related to other small wild cats. Compared to an average house cat, a bobcat is between two and four times as large in weight, and stands several inches taller. Kittens are usually born in spring, and range from one to six babies in a litter. They will usually hunt animals such as rabbits and rodents, but when necessarily they will even challenge deer. The most active periods of hunting for Bobcats are in the twilight hours of early morning and late evening. (Facts from Wikipedia.org - Bobcat)
